Natalia Parfenova is a visual artist from Moldova whose practice centers on analog photography, video processes, and photobooks. A graduate of the Gerrit Rietveld Académie in Amsterdam and the School of Contemporary Photography DocDocDoc in Saint Petersburg, her work bridges ecological themes with conceptual investigations into the unseen forces shaping our world.
Rooted in the interplay between memory, landscape, and spirituality, Natalia examines magical and transformative processes that, though often invisible, profoundly influence the environment and human experience.
Through her work, Natalia invites audiences to engage with the subtle energies that govern life, offering images and narratives that blur the boundaries between reality and the intangible.
