Silent Light — A Personal Revival

“Silent Light” is a deeply personal project that marked my return to photography in 2021 after an extended hiatus, prompted by profoundly challenging personal circumstances. The project, shot entirely on film expired for over 30 years, serves as a poetical exploration.

The use of extremely low ISO film in conditions demanding ample light becomes a metaphorical journey, echoing the search for illumination from both internal and external sources. Each frame within “Silent Light” encapsulates not only the visual essence of exitance but also the emotional and symbolic resonance of the quest for light amidst personal darkness.

This project stands as a testament to the resilience found in embracing both the limitations and possibilities inherent in life, a silent yet powerful visual narrative born from a poignant personal journey.
